My client asked that I create special boxes for him and his husband that can hold odds and ends. After getting to know them, I realized that they each loved Disney. I asked what each of their favorite characters were and went from there. They feature the character that most embodies their individual personalities, Goofy for Greg and Dopey for Ed. They each feature subtle repeating backgrounds that relate to the characters—diamonds for Dopey, for example. They’re made from real mahogany and turned by hand on the lathe.
