This box, made from cedar, was commissioned to hold my client’s father’s ashes. He owned extensive tree farms in Arkansas and I wanted to incorporate that history into his permanent resting place. The client asked that I include his tombstone, so I added trees in the background to reference his life as well as his death. There are threaded inserts in the bottom half of the box and aligning holes in the lid so that the box can be completely sealed.
